The Next Era of Custom GTA Multiplayer Arrives July 21
The future of custom Grand Theft Auto multiplayer is almost here. The FiveM team is officially launching FiveM for GTA 5 Enhanced in Early Access on July 21.
While Rockstar Games remains heavily focused on the upcoming console launch of GTA 6, they haven't forgotten current players. The official GTA Online mode remains incredibly active, recently dropping the highly anticipated Kortz Center Heist update.
However, the wider GTA roleplay and modding community is already preparing for the next evolution of online multiplayer. This upcoming FiveM update delivers massive infrastructure improvements designed to carry PC players forward for years to come.

Massive Networking & Performance Upgrades
This update fundamentally transforms core server performance and stability. Players can expect a much smoother gameplay experience thanks to the following backend upgrades:
120Hz Synchronization: Developers are significantly upgrading the core networking technology. The server synchronization rate will jump from 30 updates per second to a maximum of 120. This means drastically reduced delays between your actions and what other players see in-game.
Improved Entity Culling: Highly populated servers can now handle players and objects much more efficiently, vastly cutting down on visual lag in crowded areas.

Server owners and developers are also receiving major technical enhancements. The update introduces the brand-new Cfx Server system, which brings several vital improvements:
Memory Efficiency: The new system cuts server memory usage by up to 50% in certain heavy-load scenarios.
Expanded Tooling: Developers gain improved scripting support, advanced performance tracking, and upgraded real-time monitoring tools.
