The Epic Games Store continues its long-running weekly tradition of rewarding PC gamers with free titles. Right now, players can grab a brand-new free game to keep forever. Soon, two more exciting indie games will join the freebie lineup—and notably, neither of the upcoming titles has ever been offered for free on the platform before.
Grab Foretales Right Now
Currently, Epic Games Store users can claim Foretales, which officially replaces last week’s giveaways (the P.T.-inspired horror game Luto and the nostalgic RPG Echo Generation: Midnight Edition).
Foretales is a narrative-driven card game that focuses heavily on meaningful story choices and encourages nonviolent problem-solving. It normally costs $19.99, but gamers can add it to their permanent PC library for free until July 30.
Upcoming Free Games: OTXO and Sol Cesto
Starting on July 30, the storefront will swap out Foretales for two distinct roguelite experiences. Gamers can claim both OTXO and Sol Cesto for free until August 6. The giveaway begins and ends precisely at 8:00 PM PKT (8:00 AM PDT / 11:00 AM EDT / 5:00 PM CET). Together, these two titles hold a combined retail value of $20.98.

OTXO
Originally launched in 2023, OTXO is a top-down action roguelite that delivers violent, fast-paced combat alongside stark black-and-white visuals.
Developer Nathan “Nate” Haddock created the game largely as a solo project under Lateralis Heavy Industries and composed its electronic soundtrack.
The narrative follows a masked, unnamed amnesiac.
Players must blast through a supernatural mansion to uncover its dark secrets and rescue a missing partner.
Sol Cesto
Sol Cesto offers a highly tactical pace. Released recently in April 2026 after 13 months in early access, this game comes from a trio of French indie developers.
The story unfolds in a subterranean, sunless world where players select one of seven unique heroes to explore five distinct biomes.
The game turns movement into a probability management challenge. Encounters happen on a 4×4 grid where players choose a specific row rather than an exact tile.
Because of this mechanic, players land randomly on traps, enemies, healing spaces, or valuable rewards.

The Epic Games Store has maintained a highly aggressive free game strategy this year. Foretales officially marks the 54th full game Epic has given away in 2026 alone. Additionally, the Fortnite creator has offered four DLC packs during this period. These extra freebies include the Epic Anniversary Tachibana Pack for World of Warships and the Starter Edition for the PvPvE extraction shooter Stalcraft: X.
